Holly Hudson launched Hoo Hoops in 2018 and continues to grow and expand the brand while uplifting and empowering other women in the entrepreneurship space.
I didn’t invent the hoop earring. I
just made the perfect hoop for today.Personally, I believe the hoop is the perfect accessory for
everyone. Growing up, while expressing and finding my personal style I fell in love with the hoop earring. To me, these earrings were simple yet beautiful and could be a statement piece to any outfit.
Throughout high school and college as I wanted to grow my hoop collection I continued to run into issues with the price, quality and weight. While attending The University of Mary Washington (where my nickname Hoo was developed on the lacrosse field) I designed a hoop earring that would be affordable, light weight, and hypo-allergenic. Months of research and design went by and in my hands I had the perfect go-to hoop earrings. They were everything I had imagined and more. With two staple sizes and colors like our Best Selling Tortoise Shell, Brights, Neutrals, and Game Day Colors, we hope that there is at least one pair of HooHoops that will help you express yourself.
